I saw the article of Xinmin secondary school in wikipedia. So damn historical. Not very wikipedia friendly. But the content is still good if you got the time to read. Some are damn funny. I think that if the site could include stuff like student creeds, school songs it would bemore interesting

Some extracts:
No 1."Examples of facilities in school- Canteen Like nowadays, canteen held its purposes of accommodating students during break, a dining area and an “assembly point” where students from different classes meet and converse with each other. It has only one stall selling non-variety of food (similar most of the days-eg: ‘mee siam’, unless on special occasion, they sold special set of food). Food sold can be like fried noodles (typical in most of the rural schools). However, unlike nowadays, it was not as crowded, noisy or much depended upon as most students would prefer to “starve” and save as much pocket money as possible (for their weekend enjoyment, like going to swimming pool etc.) They were most probably being seen playing around the canteen or in the field (Like old “kampong children”, they would most probably spent their break time catching spiders, playing a game, resting or even playing with the monkey bars located nearby the canteen . The canteen consists of a small dining area, with several rows of wooden benches and tables.*Teachers had their lunch in their staff room, unless they had a meeting with their students.
Field"
Eh. puhlease hor. Can check before saving this article or not. Why is there a word 'Field' behind. Bet is typed by Jefferson who always type 'the' as 'teh'. And people just save money to go swimming pool. lolNo 2."It was rumoured that Sin Min High (students mostly) had a truce with Hwa Chong Instituition in protesting for the welfare of Chinese students and if not protesting or rioting, supporting the other schools which deliberately going against the government (supporting refer to them entertaining the rioters, provide them food etc.). Example: Anti-National service Riots in 1954, started by Chinese educated students. At most of times, Sin Min High students would just be watching as the chaos brought about between students and the government. Yet, among these commotions, racism and the poverty, the school continued their purpose of educating and not worrying their students in stuff happening far from their isolated school. Teachers tried their best to maintain the peace in the school and brought their students to learn than participating more in communists (though they never tried to discourage them, since they are oppressed themselves).
(Other point to take note: Teachers did create troubles. Some were unhelpful to the schools and did not do their utmost best in educating.
During the race tension, between Malays and Chinese, staff held different opinions and disliking to the opposite race. However, with much cooperation, they were able to control propagandas and advocating hate in their students)."
LMAO! Teachers did create troubles. And there is one word to summarise the 2nd sentence, 'RACIST'.No 3."Disciplinary system There were a times for fun and play, and there were too a time to be strict. Sin Min was known to be strict with their students, since their main objective was to advocate discipline in their students. And those who break the rules, there were no chance of running from their mistakes. Appropriate punishments were given to each offender. Some like standing outside the classroom, standing on their respective chairs and the infamous caning. For “normal” offence (usually the ones that were broken in the classroom), caning took place in classroom or just in the staffroom. However, for the serious ones, public caning would be held.
Girls who broke the rules did not get cane but were punished severely too, either staying back or slapped (female teachers took in charge)."
As a Disiplinary board member this is seriousd and appeals to me. But i cant stop laughing.Last but not least"By: The Ximinologists 2007 Credits to all Xinminologists members including Nasuha, Kelly, Wenqi, Kok Hwee and Doryfish.
